Impact Thompson seemed the likely candidate to top the Knights' depth chart to open 2021 after posting impressive work in limited reps each of the last three seasons. Unfortunately, it appears something happened that may prevent him from playing this season, which could leave Northwestern transfer Isaiah Bowser and Auburn transfer Mark-Antony Richards among the candidates to see sizable reps.
