Impact While Flinn had his best outing since Week 9 in Saturday's loss, he still turned the ball over twice and failed to reach 200 passing yards. It was still a solid outing though as he had just his second multi-touchdown game of the season and rushed for 51 yards, his second most this season. All in all, it was a disappointing season for Flinn as he completed just 54.8 percent of his passes for 1,558 yards, six touchdowns and 12 interceptions in 12 games.

Shut down in loss Flinn was 24-for-38 passing for 155 yards and two interceptions during Saturday's 10-0 defeat versus Navy. He also had 12 rushes for 31 yards and a lost fumble.

Impact Flinn had a rough outing Saturday as he failed to throw a touchdown pass in his third consecutive game and tied a season high with three turnovers. He did rush for 31 yards, his second most in a game this season, but it did not make up for his poor day through the air. He faces a more favorable matchup Saturday versus Tulsa in the Pirates' final game of this forgettable season.

Quiet in win over FAU Flinn completed 18 of 30 passes for 156 yards and one interception during Saturday's 22-7 victory against Florida Atlantic. He also had seven rushes for 16 yards.

Impact Flinn did not do much Saturday's win, but he led six scoring drives in the game including five that ended in Andrew Conrad 40-yard field goals. Flinn completed 60 percent of his passes for the second time this season, and his only mistake was an interception in the first quarter, his eighth of the season.

Impact For the first time this season Flinn led the Pirates' offense from start to finish, and it did not go that well versus the conference's best defense. Although he threw for just 120 yards, he did help his team jump out to a 10-0 lead and he did not turn the ball over. Even with a subpar performance, it seems Flinn is likely to remain the Pirates starting quarterback over Mason Garcia.

Decent in Saturday's loss Flinn was 23-for-43 passing for 225 yards, two touchdowns and one interception during Saturday's 41-27 loss against Texas-San Antonio. He also had 20 rushes for 53 yards.

Impact For the first time this season, Flinn played every offensive snap and did not split time with Mason Garcia. With that stability he put together his best game of the season, tossing multiple touchdowns for the first time and setting a season high with 53 rushing yards. Although he threw his seventh interception of the season, his play Saturday will likely lock up the job for him the rest of the season and give the Pirates some much needed stability under center.

Out-plays Garcia Saturday Flinn completed 11 of 18 passes for 69 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 10-7 loss to Charlotte.

Impact It appears there may never be a definitive starter for the Pirates, as Mason Garcia started Saturday but was pulled for poor performance, and Flinn out-played him. Flinn did not even play particularly well, as he threw for under 70 yards on 18 attempts, although he did throw the Pirates' lone touchdown of the game. Whoever starts Saturday at UTSA will undoubtedly split time with the backup, so it's best to avoid both if at all possible.
