Impact Woods has largely been secondary in the KSU offense, but that all changed here. Not only by a wide margin did he have the most carries for the Owls, he was tied for the team lead in receptions. That makes this an interesting game to follow up on, because Woods may be the go-to guy for the team now.

Most touches for the Owls Woods ran 11 times for 49 yards and a touchdown and added three catches for 15 yards versus West Georgia on Thursday.

Impact Woods got the most touches of any KSU player in the season opener, but counterintuitively that may not be a great sign. The Owls were up 40-0 at halftime, they played three quarterbacks, and nine guys had rushing attempts. As such, Woods being so involved may be more of a sign that he is in the middle of the depth chart, as opposed to being a key part of this offense.
