Efficient outing in opener Laughery posted 10 rushes for 79 yards and reeled in all two targets for seven yards during Thursday's 45-0 victory over Eastern Illinois.

Impact Though he was outpaced in touches on the day by Kaden Feagin, Laughery certainly made the most of his opportunities, averaging 7.9 YPC. The sophomore running back will undoubtedly continue to split carries with Feagin moving forward, but both backs should be able to put together productive performances with the opportunities they are given. Laughery's next opportunity will come when Illinois hosts Kansas on Saturday.
