Headed to Chapel Hill Burrell will transfer to North Carolina, the program announced.

Impact Burrell spent two seasons with LSU and didn't attempt a field goal or an extra point. Now, he'll take his talents to the Tar Heels, where he'll look to earn the starting place-kicker gig. He should have three years of eligibility remaining.

Impact Burrell re-aggravated a previous injury during the Arkansas-LSU game. Because of the problem he suffered then, his injury status is questionable going into Week 13 against Western Kentucky.
