Impact Whiting has now missed seven straight games after playing in each of the Runnin' Rebels' first two games this season. The guard didn't score a point in both of those contests combined while playing 19 minutes. His next chance to suit up will come on Dec. 17 against Dayton.

Impact Henley was dressed and going through pregame warmups at full speed, so he's widely expected to see action in this matchup. He hasn't played since Nov. 14 due to a foot injury. He started the first three games and averaged 8.7 points and 3.0 rebounds.

Impact Cherry, who exited Thursday's game against Mississippi State early in the second half, saw a full workload against the Wildcats on Friday. The 6-foot-11 junior has started in all seven games this season with UNLV, averaging 12.9 points, 6.7 rebounds, 0.9 assists and 1.9 blocks on 24.4 minutes per game. Cherry and the Running Rebels will have some time off before returning to action against Creighton on Dec. 7.
