Mason Abittan - Out for opening game Abittan (undisclosed) is out for Tuesday's opener against Tennessee-Martin, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Abittan will be sidelined as the Rebels kick off their season. The freshman guard will now seek to get back into action against Chattanooga on Saturday.

Issac Williamson - Will miss opener Williamson (foot) will not be available in Tuesday's game against UT-Martin, Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports reports.
Impact Williamson was listed as doubtful coming into this week and he will indeed be unable to go in the opener. UNLV will be short-handed without Myles Che (foot) and Mason Abittan (undisclosed) as well. Williamson will look to get healthy and try to crack the rotation in his freshman campaign. He's next chance to return will be on Saturday against Chattanooga.

Impact Stephen's return to action appears slated to come mid-season for the Rebels. The Arizona transfer, who only played in eight games last season, should provide some nice size in UNLV's front court with his 7-foot frame, but it'll need to wait to get him involved until at least December.

Impact Dembele has been working his way back from a foot injury suffered in the offseason, with his recovery spanning the course of the last two months. The 6-foot-8 forward's timeline was always expected to make his return for the start of the 2025-26 season questionable, so it doesn't appear he's suffered any setbacks. He averaged 4.5 points and 3.5 rebounds per game with Iowa last season before heading to Las Vegas via the transfer portal in the offseason and is expected to be a solid contributor for the Rebels once he is able to make his return. Impact Che is on the move for the third time in three years and is coming off a stellar shooting season, averaging 12.1 points on 49 percent shooting from beyond the arc. He started all 38 games at UC-Irvine during the 2023-24 campaign and will look to take the next step up with the Lobos.
