Impact Jarusevicius has been out with a back ailment amidst the Cornhuskers' historic 10-0 start to the season, but the senior forward appears slated to return soon. The Central Michigan transfer averaged 16.2 points and 7.3 rebounds last season with the Chippewas, and should provide reinforcements to Nebraska's frontcourt upon his return.

Impact Washut described Jarusevicius' back injury as lingering, so it has been problematic for a while. While the Nebraska team is not certain, it is hopeful that he could be available when the Cornhuskers log their next and last exhibition before their regular-season opener. The exhibition will come Oct. 27 against Midland University and exactly one week before capping off regular-season action against West Georgia.
