Going portaling Patterson announced his entry into the NCAA transfer portal via his X account Wednesday.

Impact Patterson will enter the portal following two seasons with Rice. The 6-foot-9 senior appeared in 13 games for the Owls this past season, averaging 1.4 points and 1.6 rebounds in eight minutes per game in that time. The 23-year-old forward will retain a single year of eligibility at his next destination.
