Impact Zapala closed with seven points and eight rebounds as the Spartans took down the Buffaloes in the opening round of the Maui Invitational. The 7-foot senior has been incredibly effective in his first season with MSU, averaging 6.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 0.7 blocks across six starts (17.3 minutes per game). Zapala, who is shooting 69.6 percent from the field this season, will look to stay efficient during Tuesday's showdown with Memphis.
