Coastal Carolina tops Hampden-Sydney 102-66

CONWAY, S.C. (AP) — Garrick Green and Tyrell Gumbs-Frater scored 24 points apiece as Coastal Carolina easily beat Hampden-Sydney 102-66 on Friday night.

Tommy Burton had 14 points for Coastal Carolina (1-1). Keishawn Brewton added 13 points, Ebrima Dibba 10 and Devonte Jones dished seven assists in his first game since breaking a foot.

It was the first time this season Coastal Carolina scored at least 100 points.

Jack Wyatt had 20 points for the Division III Tigers. Jake Hahn added 17 points. Kevin Quinn had 13 points. Hampden-Sydney, founded in 1775, is the oldest privately chartered college in the southern United States.
