Impact Malith, who suffered a season-ending knee injury in early January, is expected to depart from SIU-Edwardsville and seek out an additional year of collegiate eligibility this offseason. The 6-foot-9 senior started in 14 games prior to his injury, averaging 17 points, 5.4 rebounds, 1.5 assists, one steal and 0.6 blocks on 29.6 minutes per game.

Seven rebounds in win Malith finished Saturday's 69-48 win over Southeast Missouri State with 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one block over 31 minutes.

Impact Malith, an oversized guard, was the Cougars' leading rebounder for the season and continued to work hard on the glass. The junior averaged 7.2 rebounds per game and finished with six double-doubles in SIU-Edwardsville's charge to the program's first appearance in the NCAA Tournament.
