Commits to Belmont Malith (knee) has committed to Belmont for the 2026-27 season, Travis Branham of 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Malith was granted a fifth year of eligibility following the Colorado court ruling and will join the Bruins. The 6-foot-9 guard spent the last two seasons with SIU-Edwardsville and is coming off a short 2025-26 campaign where he averaged 17.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game across 14 games. Malith will look to recover from his knee surgery in early January and look to compete for a starting role in Belmont's backcourt.

Seven rebounds in win Malith finished Saturday's 69-48 win over Southeast Missouri State with 12 points (4-9 FG, 1-3 3Pt, 3-3 FT), seven rebounds, one assist and one block over 31 minutes.
