Commits to NC State Edmead (transfer portal) has committed to joining North Carolina State for the 2026-27 campaign, Matthew Bradham of PackInsider.com reports.

Impact Edmead joins the Wolfpack after spending his freshman season at Hofstra. The 6-foot-1 guard will fight for a starting role in the team, coming off a productive season where he averaged 16.1 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.4 assists across 35 starts.

Impact Edmead has had a terrific freshman season and his highest scoring game of the campaign came at the perfect time. He was a huge part of the attack and this continues a strong recent stretch of games in which he is averaging 18.8 points, 3.7 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 2.8 three-pointers over the last six. Edmead should be heavily involved in Hofstra's first round game in the NCAA Tournament next week.
