Impact Meeusen reportedly had a chance to return ahead of Friday's contest, but he ended up sitting out his third straight game to start the season. His next chance to suit up is Monday versus Georgia State.

Could return Friday Meeusen (ankle) is progressing well and could return for Friday's game versus Gonzaga, 247Sports.com reports.

Impact Meeusen, who has not stepped on the floor yet this season, has a chance to make his season debut Friday. Head coach Bobby Hurley said that he's coming along and that he's "progressed a lot faster than our medical thought." He added that he's not sure if he'll be able to make the game but that it would be close given the progress Meeusen has made.

Impact Meeusen signed with Arizona State out of Belgium this offseason. The 6-foot-5 guard won't be available for the beginning of the Sun Devils' season, however, which would be a big loss considering he's expected to be a big contributor in Tempe this year.
