Usage to go up in 2023-24 Missouri's head coach Dennis Gates said Tuesday that Carter will have his usage increased during the 2023-24 season, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.

Impact Carter was limited to a 22-minute average during Missouri's 2022-23 season. Still, he averaged 9.6 points and 4.0 rebounds, proving he was effective despite his limited time. So, if the redshirt senior's usage is increased this upcoming campaign, that should make him one of the SEC's most promising options. Last season, when Carter played 25 minutes or more, he averaged 13.9 points.
