Joining the Golden Gophers Turner has announced his commitment to Minnesota, Portal Updates reports.

Impact Turner will join the Golden Gophers after spending one season with Central Arkansas. The 6-foot-10 freshman appeared in 33 games with the Bears (10 starts), averaging 8.5 points, 4.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, 0.6 steals and 1.1 blocks on 18.1 minutes per game. Turner will look to carve out a role with the Gophers next fall.
