Feature role with Utah State Falslev will return to Utah State for the 2024-25 season, Jason Walker of Cache Valley Daily reports.
Impact After initially entering the transfer portal in late-March, Falslev has apparently changed his mind, and he'll represent Utah State's second-leading returning scorer after an inaugural season in which he put up 11.3 ppg with the Aggies. He's already shown signs of taking on a bigger role in the offense, as Falslev put up a team-high 17 points in the first leg of Utah State's European tour (per Shawn Harrison of the Herald-Journal). The second-year guard will be a player worth keeping an eye on in 2024-25 in formats that feature the Mountain West conference.

Enters transfer portal Falslev entered the NCAA's transfer portal Wednesday, VerbalCommits.com reports.
Impact Not long after a second-round loss in the 2024 NCAA Tournament, Falslev enters the transfer portal to maximize what will be his second and potentially last season of collegiate basketball if he shines through. He already excelled during his first season, taking one of the best teams in an above-average MWC to great heights by averaging more than 10 points and four rebounds in 30-plus games.

Nagging shoulder injury Falslev (shoulder) is suffering from a nagging shoulder injury but may be able to return to the Mounatin West tournament should Utah State advance, per TheAggShip.com.
Impact Falslev has reportedly been dealing with the shoulder injury for weeks and will be unavailable against Fresno State. Head coach Danny Sprinkle did not rule Falslev out for the remainder of the Mountain West tournament should the Aggies progress, however, so his status will be worth monitoring should Utah State get the win in his absence.

Fouls out in loss Falslev dropped 16 points (7-11 FG, 2-3 3Pt), five rebounds and one assist in 27 minutes before fouling out of Saturday's 81-67 loss to San Diego State.
Impact The redshirt freshman was Utah State's most effective scorer during Saturday's affair, but foul trouble limited his minutes throughout the game. Falslev has struggled from behind the arc this season, shooting just 29.2 percent, but he was able to knock down two-plus three's for just the second time in 22 games Saturday. The 6-foot-3 guard is averaging 11.3 points per game and he'll look to keep scoring efficiently as the Aggies continue their Mountain West schedule.
