Jackson leads Arizona State in 65-56 win over Stanford

Senior Marreon Jackson scored 18 points in his final home game and Arizona State pulled away from Stanford in the second half to post a 65-56 win

In starting lineup Saturday Jackson is set to get his senior day start for Saturday's contest against Stanford, Michelle Gardner of The Arizona Republic reports.

Impact Jackson is set to start Saturday's game, making his 17th start of the season. The senior guard is averaging 10.0 points, 4.0 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.6 steals in 28.4 minutes per game this season. Jackson will start in the place of Jay Heath.

He had just eight points combined in the team's past two games, but logged a full workload in Saturday's 3OT affair to record a new season high. The Sun Devils are a long ways away from having a tournament-worthy resume, but if the team can get healthy and Jackson can stay hot, they may be a potential bid-stealing candidate in the conference tournament.
