Impact Johnson didn't appear in either of the Wildcats' exhibition games, and it looks as though the Bowling Green transfer simply doesn't have a spot in the rotation. The move comes as quite a surprise after Johnson averaged 16.3 points and 5.0 rebounds across 31.5 minutes per game a season ago. Kansas State leaned on Khamari McGriff and Stephen Osei on Tuesday.

Impact Johnson will remain a game-time decision for the Wildcats' season debut since he's been withheld from the starting lineup. The projected starting center's designation should now be revealed prior to tip-off.
