Impact After starting in the last four games for George Mason, Henry will return to his spot on the bench against Rhode Island. The 6-foot-8 junior has appeared in 24 games this season (four starts), averaging 4.5 points, 3.1 rebounds and 0.5 blocks on 12.2 minutes per game.

Impact Henry's latest log included his first game started across 2023. During January, he averaged 6.5 points and 3.3 rebounds. Henry is not expected to be a valued option this year, but it could be the junior's last full one before his senior season, scheduled to end in 2024.

In starting five Monday Henry is in the starting lineup for Monday's game against George Washington, Patrick Stevens of The Athletic reports.

Impact Henry did not play in the team's last game against Kansas due to COVID protocols, which was all the way back on Jan. 1. Josh Oduro is not starting Monday, but did warm up prior to the game. Henry has played a limited role off the bench so far this season, so it will be interesting to see how many minutes he gets Monday.

Impact The Patriots announced prior to the game that the team expected to be short-handed due to COVID protocol, but Henry ended up being the only regular rotation player not to see the court. His playing time has been a bit inconsistent of late anyway, as Henry had been held scoreless in back-to-back games and limited to single-digit minutes in six of the previous seven contests overall. George Mason's matchup against Duquesne on Sunday has already been postponed, so Henry's next chance to take the court will be Wednesday against Rhode Island.

Impact Henry's been in the dog house since violating team rules back in December. He served a two-game suspension, but he failed to find the floor in the next four games once the suspension ended. It appears the freshman won't provide much of a role on the floor this season, as he's averaging 1.8 points over 4.0 minutes per game in four appearances this season.

Impact Henry and two of his teammates were all suspended two games for violating team policy. Henry was technically eligible to play in Saturday's contest but did not see the floor as the Patriots dropped a close one to Norfolk State. It's likely that Henry was available off the bench and just didn't play as he's averaged just five minutes per game this season however no official report was given before the game on his status. It remains to be seen whether he'll play or not in the team's next game against UMass on Dec. 30.
