The Northern Arizona transfer struggled against better competition this season, ranking third on Pacific in points despite leading the team in minutes.

Impact Avdalovic came off the bench in his return from a two-game absence Tuesday, and he rejoined the starting five Saturday but struggled with his shot. He's averaged 10.5 points and 1.9 rebounds in 29.9 minutes while shooting 38.6 percent from the field this season.

Impact The first sign of a potential problem was when Avdalovic was held scoreless for the first time this season two days earlier against Portland. He logged just 22 minutes in that contest -- his second-lowest of the season. Pacific was still able to pull off the upset without its second-leading scorer, but this was still the first win of conference play for the Tigers, who sit at 6-13 overall.

Impact Avdalovic had missed the last three games due to a concussion, but he saw ample playing time off the bench in his return to the court Friday. It's not yet clear whether his bench role will continue after he started each of the first eight games of the season, but it was encouraging to see the senior back in action Friday.
