Jadon Jones - Inactive Monday Jones (back) will not appear in Oklahoma's opener against Lindenwood, Brody Lusk of Rivals.com reports.
Impact Jones, who started in both of the Sooners' exhibition games this offseason, will not be available for Monday's season opener. The 6-foot-5 senior, a transfer from Long Beach State, will have his next opportunity to appear on Nov. 11, against Northwestern State.

Jadon Jones - Questionable for Lindenwood game Jones (back) is questionable for Oklahoma's game Monday against Lindenwood, according to Brody Lusk of Rivals.
Impact Oklahoma's 2024-25 team is expected to begin its regular season Monday. However, the matchup may not include Jones, who is trying to recover from a tweaked back. OU's head coach Porter Moser said he "doubts" his Long Beach State transfer will be available Monday. That would mean Moser must find a likely replacement for Jones in the Sooners' starting lineup, considering he was part of their primary perimeter players for multiple scrimmages during preseason.

Sam Godwin - Available against Lindenwood Godwin (concussion) will be available for Oklahoma's game Monday against Lindenwood, according to Jon Rothstein of CBS Sports.
Impact Earlier in November, it was announced that Godwin was expected to be available Monday, so him being ready then should not be surprising. As a regular starter for Oklahoma's 2023-24 team, he averaged 6.8 points and 5.3 rebounds across his 31 games started. Even though Godwin's field goal percentage then was a career low, he still shot almost 60 percent (59.8 to be exact) and achieved career highs through both his aforementioned rates in points and rebounds.
