Joseph Girard - Opens campaign with 19 points Girard notched 19 points (5-10 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 5-5 FT), two rebounds and three assists in 25 minutes during Monday's 90-72 win over Lehigh.

Impact Girard was deadly from three-point range and opened the campaign on a strong note, though to be fair, he didn't do much outside of scoring. The four-year veteran posted a career-high 13.8 points in 2021-22, but given the fact that the Orange lost quite a few important pieces during the offseason, Girard might be in line for a career-best year if he's able to take advantage of an expected uptick in his usage rate.

Jesse Edwards - Starts season with double-double Edwards ended Monday's 90-72 win over Lehigh with 18 points (5-8 FG, 8-10 FT), 11 rebounds, one assist, three blocks and two steals in 27 minutes.

Impact Edwards was having a career-best season in 2021-22 before suffering a season-ending wrist injury and based on the season opener, he's ready to pick things up right where he left them off. He's expected to be a reliable two-way presence down the middle for the Orange and could even be considered a double-double threat every time he steps on the court.
