Impact Lewis is a ways away from returning to the hardwood, but it seems Brown now have a clear picture of when Lewis might return to action. Lewis has yet to play in 2025-26 but averaged 13.7 points per game in 23 appearances (22 starts) in 2024-25.

Impact Lewis's absence from the starting five for the Browns' second game of the season makes it likely he'll miss another game. The senior forward's true status should become known as the game progresses, but he'll look for a debut at Boston University if he's out.

Starting Friday Head coach Mike Martin revealed that Lewis will be in the starting lineup for Brown against Princeton on Friday, per Bill Koch of The Providence Journal.

Impact Lewis will make his return to the starting lineup after coming off the bench against Columbia following a three-game absence with an undisclosed injury. The 6-foot-7 junior has been a star for the Brown Bears this season, averaging 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game through 16 contests.

Plays well in return Lewis (undisclosed) recorded 14 points (6-10 FG, 2-3 FT), three rebounds, three assists and three blocks over 24 minutes during Saturday's 74-72 loss to Columbia.

Impact Lewis missed Brown's previous three games, but he returned and played very well, hitting 60 percent of his shots from the field and contributing in other facets as well. He didn't get the start, but figures to work his way back into the starting rotation simply in a matter of time.

Doubtful against Penn Head coach Mike Martin revealed that Lewis (undisclosed) has not practiced since last week and is doubtful for the weekend, per Bill Koch of The Providence Journal.

Impact Lewis was held out of last week's game against Dartmouth with an undisclosed injury, marking just his second missed game of the season. It appears the junior forward may be in line to add to that number however, as Martin made it clear that the 6-foot-7 junior is doubtful ahead of Brown's back-to-back showcase this weekend against Penn and Princeton. Lewis has been a star for the Brown Bears in his third season on campus, averaging 13.5 points and 6.9 rebounds in his first year as a starter. With Lewis likely out for the weekend, a matchup against Columbia the following Saturday will be a likely return date barring any further negative updates.
