Impact Ware has largely served as the backup to starter Eric Dixon this season, but it's largely been for defensive purposes. Despite appearing in all previous 11 contests, Ware had yet to score more than two points in a single game. Dixon didn't need much relief Wednesday, however, as he matched a season-high 37 minutes and put up the second-best scoring total of his career. On top of that Nnanna Njojku was his backup, logging two points and three boards in eight minutes. There hasn't been any reported injury for Ware, so it's unclear whether he's just losing minutes, or something else is holding him back.

Impact Ware pulled a muscle in practice in mid-October that forced him to sit out Kentucky's Blue-White scrimmage, but he was back in action for exhibition play a week later. Look for the junior forward to provide depth in the pain behind the likes of Jacob Toppin and Daimion Collins, with a slight chance to see more run if Oscar Tshiebwe (knee) has to miss time (though there hasn't been any indication of that yet).

The 6-9 forward is hoping to carve out a bigger role for Big Blue after averaging 1.5 points and 1.9 rebounds a season ago.
