Impact Cuffe has had a storied career already ahead of his fifth-year senior season in Queens. The 6-foot-2 guard, who hails from Harlem, began his career at Kansas but only played in two games as a freshman. He then spent two seasons as a bench option for Syracuse before putting together his best statistical season last year at Mercer, averaging 7.3 points and 1.8 rebounds. Cuffe will return to his home city for what should be his final year of college ball, and he figures to be a bench piece for the Johnnies.

Impact The starting lineup didn't work in this loss Tuesday for Syracuse, and Cuffe was able to make a huge impact off the bench. The junior guard struggled to see minutes in the early portion of the season but has been playing regularly of late, scoring in double digits in three of his last five contests while averaging 18.6 minutes per contest in that stretch.
