Departing from High Point Giffa has entered the transfer portal, Jeff Borzello of ESPN.com reports.

Impact Giffa and teammate Kimani Hamilton, both of whom earned First Team All-Big South honors, will enter the transfer portal after leading High Point back to the NCAA Tournament. Giffa averaged 14.6 PPG this past season, which was actually slightly down from the 16.2 PPG he put up two seasons ago. Nevertheless, there should be some power conference offers for Giffa.

Impact Giffa's solid performance against Winthrop marked a nice bounce-back effort after scoring 10 points on 3-of-11 from the field in the semifinal round. Giffa has been prone to slow shooting nights throughout the season but consistently came back with double-digit scoring efforts in the next game aside from a two-game stretch in December. Giffa remains the key figure in one of the nation's most underrated offenses heading into the NCAA Tournament.
