Impact Prior to Saint Louis, Brown is Anya's team of which he logged his first seasons. As a non-freshman, he recorded more than 5.0 rebounds per game for both the Bears and Billikens.

Set to redshirt Anya is set to redshirt for the 2025-26 season, Stu Durando of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports.

Impact The announcement of Anya's redshirt comes as a bit of a shock after he started all 34 games last year, averaging 6.5 points, 7.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1.1 steals and a block in 27.9 minutes per contest. Robbie Avila is set to be the team's starting big man in his final collegiate season, leaving the door open for Anya to assume the starting role next season after Avila's departure.

The severity of the illness is thus far unknown, but Anya can likely be looked at as a game-time decision for Saturday's contest against Loyola-Marymount.
