Impact Konieczny will join the Eagles this offseason after choosing to depart from Notre Dame. The 6-foot-7 graduate transfer appeared in 32 games this past season (four starts), averaging 4.3 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.8 assists on 16.2 minutes per game.

Impact Konieczny was not expected to be a valued player of the Fighting Irish's 2022-23 season while they still have Dane Goodwin and Trey Wertz rostered. Both small forwards are seniors though. So when Konieczny is available again during 2023, he has an advantageous opportunity to be significant across the Fighting Irish's team later that year.
