Impact Baker went off, having his best scoring performance of the 2022-23 season so far as Michigan won its first-round game of the 2023 National Invitation Tournament. Jett Howard has been battling ankle injuries all season and is day-to-day after the Wolverine win. If the freshman sits out as he did Tuesday, Baker is expected to continue being a part of Michigan's starting XI as long as the Wolverines remain alive in the NIT.
