Commits to Canisius Jones has announced, via his personal Twitter account, that he will join Canisius for the upcoming season.

Impact Jones, who has spent the last two seasons with Georgia State, will join the Golden Griffins this offseason. The 6-foot-9 sophomore appeared in 13 games last season, averaging 3.1 points, three rebounds and 0.5 blocks on 10.2 minutes per game.

Added to transfer portal Jones (undisclosed) was added to the NCAA's transfer portal Monday, VerbalCommits.com reports.

Impact Jones' undisclosed problem caused his unavailability across all of February. Now, he will try transferring to another school that has better upside for him as an approaching junior. Jones averaged 13.5 minutes across his 45 games (23 started) while Georgia State had the big man.
