Impact Charles has been an incredible addition for the Cowboys this year after three seasons at Lafayette, as he's McNeese's leading rebounder at 7.1 rpg. The scoring can be hit-or-miss, however, as he's been shut out on a few occasions and has reached double figures just once in the five games leading up to the Big Dance. The Cowboys might need his offensive game to show some life if they hope to record their first ever NCAA Tournament win in program history.

Impact Charles returned to the rotation for the Ragin' Cajuns after missing their last game for an undisclosed reason. He recorded an efficient night off the bench, providing 11 points and four rebounds in just 16 minutes of action. The 6-foot-7 freshman has started three games for Louisiana-Lafayette, averaging 5.9 points and 2.6 rebounds on 12.6 minutes per game. Charles started the previous two games for the Ragin' Cajuns before missing time.
