Impact Dawson's return will add depth on the wings for Kansas. However, he's not expected to make a big impact across the board. He's averaging a mere 16.2 minutes per game in six outings off the bench in 2025-26, averaging 4.3 points, 1.2 rebounds and 1.2 assists per game.

Impact Kansas' head coach Bill Self is confident that Dawson will be available for the Connecticut-Kansas game. Should his teammate Darryn Peterson (hamstring) remain out, Dawson may be in line for increased minutes.
