Not likely to return soon Fontenet (hip) is not likely to return in the near future, Mark Patton of Noozhawk.com reports.

Impact Fontenet has missed the last seven games for the Gauchos, and he'll now miss an extended period of time with the hip injury. The junior captain is averaging 6.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 26.8 minutes per game this season when healthy. He'll likely return to the court at some point in January, if not later in the campaign.

Battling knee injury Fontenet didn't play in Saturday's 68-53 loss to Utah Valley due to a knee injury.

Impact Fontenet has been sidelined since late November with a knee injury. It's unclear if he's nearing a return, but his next chance to play will come Wednesday against Wisconsin-Green Bay. Fontenet is averaging 6.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.6 assists across 26.8 minutes per game this season.
