Impact Coleman-Jones started four games for Middle Tennessee State during the 2020-21 season before sitting out last year due to a knee injury. However, it appears the center is now healthy and should be available for Monday's season opener against Brescia.

Impact Coleman-Jones had missed five games in a row but made his presence felt in his return -- even though he didn't play much. He hasn't started a game since Dec. 16, however, so his return shouldn't affect many rosters going forward.

Impact Coleman-Jones was one of five MTSU players placed in the team's COVID-19 protocol which forced him to miss the FIU series last weekend. The 6-10 center had previously started in four straight games but came off the bench Friday and saw a season-low six minutes as the Blue Raiders fell behind big against Southern Miss. It's unclear if Coleman-Jones will return to the starting unit for Saturday's contest or if head coach Nick McDevitt will continue to put out a smaller lineup.

Impact Coleman-Jones is one of five MTSU players who will not be available for either of this weekend's pair of games. The program had to cancel some games due to COVID-19 issues, so it's quite possible that is the reason Coleman-Jones will be out again Saturday. His next opportunity to retake the floor arrives next Friday in the first of a pair of games Friday and Saturday versus Sothern Miss.
