Impact Lawrence started the game absolutely red hot, hitting four threes in the first half. Needless to say, he cooled off a bit, and Michigan rallied for the win to hand Nebraska its first loss. Still, it was a memorable game for the point guard, who hit 20 points for the first time since Jan. 10 and just the third time overall this season. The one blemish on his stat-line? Six turnovers, easily his most all season.

Impact The undefeated Cornhuskers have several players who can step up on any given night, and in this case, it was the senior, as Lawrence turned in a new season-high scoring total. After hitting a bit of a lull in late-November/early-December, Lawrence has reached double figures in five of six, averaging 13.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg and 3.0 apg over that span. Saturday's defensive contributions were also welcome, as his trio of steals were a new season-best and just his second multi-steal game of the year.

Impact Lawrence hasn't been a volume scorer for the Huskers, but he's hit double-digit points in four of his last five games. The guard has been getting to the free throw line more in that span, which is certainly helping. Monday was his first game this season without an assist; he'll look to stay active as a scorer and resume his role as a facilitator on Saturday at Indiana.
