Back after missing one game Bieniemy, who did not play Saturday against D3 Sul Ross State, is set to retake the court Tuesday against St. Mary's, Colin Deaver of KTSM 9 News reports.

Impact Bieniemy has apparently been away from the team for 10 days, but was back at team facilities Monday afternoon. While the school likely can't release any information due to medical privacy concerns, the program was just on pause due to COVID-19 protocol, so most can put two and two together. Without Bieniemy, the Miners struggled much more than expected against a D3 opponent, as the game was a back-and-forth affair before UTEP pulled away late. Barring any further medical issues, Bieniemy should return to his role as primary point guard for Tuesday's road matchup.

Impact Originally considered a candidate to have to sit this season due to NCAA transfer rules, Bieniemy will instead be able to step in and assume point guard duties for the Miners. With 47 career starts in the Big 12 under his belt, Bieniemy will be an immediate asset and one of the better fantasy options in the Big 12. He was often overshadowed by the likes of Rashard odomes, Kristian Doolittle and Brany Manek while with the Sooners, but should be one of the go-to options for coach Rodney Terry's squad. The door is wide open following the departure of last year's point guard, Jordan Lathon, to UW-Milwaukee.
