Enters transfer portal Robinson entered the NCAA's transfer portal Wednesday, VerbalCommits.com reports.

Impact After redshirting Miami's 2021-22 season, Robinson participated in the Hurricanes' 2022-23 and 2023-24 campaigns. Unfortunately for him, he was limited during both seasons, failing to reach 20 games and never playing more than 16 minutes a matchup.

Looking at redshirt Robinson intends to take a redshirt for the 2021-22 season, Christopher Stock of 247 Sports reports.

Impact Robinson was a consensus four-star recruit that appeared in many top-100 overall rankings, but the freshman has yet to take the court in a single game this season for the Hurricanes. Instead, Charlie Moore, Isaiah Wong and Kameron McGusty take up the bulk of the backcourt minutes with fellow freshman Bensley Joseph functioning in a reserve capacity. Both Moore and McGusty are set to move on from the program next year, however, which will leave Robinson the opportunity to step into a prominent role out of the gates while preserving all four years of eligibility.
