Heading to South Florida Jones has committed to play for USF for the 2025-26 season, per VerbalCommits.com.

Impact Jones will join the Bulls following two seasons with Oakland. The former Detroit Mercy transfer averaged 6.8 points and 4.5 rebounds per game across 28 appearances for the Golden Grizzlies this past season. The 6-foot-7 junior will retain a single year of eligibility with USF.

Starting Thursday versus Kentucky Jones (ankle) is in the starting five for Thursday's game versus No. 3 Kentucky, the team announced.

Impact Jones has missed the last three games with an ankle injury but is back for the Golden Grizzlies' biggest game of the season. He is back in the starting lineup too, taking back the spot from Osei Price. In 31 games this season he is averaging 5.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 20 minutes per game.

Impact Head coach Greg Kampe said that he expects Jones to play Thursday after missing the last three games with an ankle injury. Jones started 27 of the first 31 games for the Golden Grizzlies, so his return could change the starting lineup. Prior to his injury he averaged 5.3 points, 4.5 rebounds and 1.6 assists in 20 minutes per game.
