Impact Jones put forth strong production Thursday, but he missed critical free throws down the stretch of a tight game -- ultimately adding up to the difference in the contest. Jones posted at least 20 points for the eighth time this season, while Thursday represented his ninth double-double through 30 appearances.

Double-double in letdown game Jones finished Saturday's 73-61 loss to Arizona State with 16 points (6-11 FG, 4-5 FT), 11 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and one steal over 32 minutes.

Impact Jones tallied 16 points and six boards in an upset victory over Arizona earlier this week, but the team followed up the signature victory with a bit of a letdown against a far inferior Arizona State team on Saturday. Jones has still be a breakout player and driving factor behind Washington State's emergence, as he's averaging 17.7 points and 8.3 boards over the team's last 13 games. He now has eight double-doubles on the year.

Performing in huge workload Jones posted 20 points (10-15 FG, 0-1 FT), seven rebounds and two blocks over 42 minutes during Saturday's 90-87 OT victory over Washington.

Impact Jones is averaging 19.6 points, 9.1 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in 35.7 minutes per game over his last seven contests, shooting 57.6 from the field on 13.1 shots per game. He has abandoned his three-point stroke, but his 72.5 percent shooting at the rim ranks in the 93rd percentile nationwide.

Impact Jones was held in-check Saturday, but his performance is indicative of a fair floor for the big man. Even though his block rate and defensive rebounding rate are slightly down from his breakout campaign at Idaho last year, he has helped anchor Washington State as a top-40 defensive rebounding team in the country. Additionally, his ranks in the top-120 nationwide with a 62.1 true-shooting percentage.

With PAC-12 play commencing, it will be interesting to monitor how Jones' performance correlates to an uptick in improved competition.
