Joining Hawaii Erickson has committed to Hawaii for the 2025-26 season, Stephen Tsai of the Honolulu Star-Advertiser reports.

Impact Erickson left Utah and didn't waste time finding a new program, and he should be a regular with Hawaii. He's going to join his new team in June. Erickson, who has one year left of college eligibility, averaged 3.8 points and 1.6 rebounds per game for Utah in 2024-25 while starting in two of his 33 outings.

Decides to leave Utah Erickson has decided to enter the transfer portal, Ryan McDonald of the Deseret News reports.

Impact Erickson spent two seasons with Utah, and while he was a regular off the bench, he ended up starting in just two of his 69 appearances. The senior will aim to earn a starting role in another program ahead of his final year of college eligibility.

Impact Erickson has stepped into a healthy workload after hardly taking the court throughout two prior seasons at BYU, but Thursday marked his first impact performance. Utah's rotation has been consistent this season, so it remains to be seen whether Erickson can continue stepping up as a scorer, or if Thursday was more of an aberration.
