Misses opener due to eligibility Dzellat (not injury related) did not play in Monday's 109-54 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff due to his lack of an NCAA waiver, Keegan Nickoson of BearcatJournal.com reports.

Impact Dzellat, a freshman from France, does not yet have a waiver to play so he will be on the sidelines until the NCAA fulfills that waiver. Head coach Wes Miller said they submitted the waiver after Tyler McKinley (knee) suffered a season-ending injury in October.

Warming up Monday Dzellat is warming up ahead of Monday's season opener against Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Keegan Nickoson of BearcatJournal.com reports.

Impact Dzellat appears to be active for the Bearcats ahead of their season opener despite rumors that the 6-foot-10 freshman would redshirt. It remains to be seen if the freshman forward from France will see the floor this season.
