Impact Elliott was efficient from the field and was one of the main reasons why the Panthers secured a blowout win over the Cardinals, as this was also his best scoring mark of the campaign. He's reached the 20-point plateau just twice in the season, though, so it's not wise to expect these contributions on a regular basis from the senior.

Impact This was Elliott's best scoring performance of the season, but the shooting guard has not been very consistent with his figures. He scored in double digits in his first three games of the campaign, but he's repeated that accomplishment just twice in his last seven performances. His overall-season numbers do not stand out, but he's posting a career-best 10.3 points per tilt in his first year with the program.

Impact The Marquette transfer has started each of the Panthers' first two games, and while the team has not played particularly well, Elliott at least has scored in double digits in both contests. The lack of efficiency is an issue, though, as he's gone just 7-for-17 from the field in those contests, but he also struggled from the field last season. He made a career-low 38.9 percent of his field goal attempts in 2021-22.

Impact Elliott ended up starting in the backcourt alongside Nelly Cummings and Jamarius Burton, and this is a pattern that could continue while four-star freshman Dior Johnson deals with off-the-court issues. It's also possible Burton shifts over to shooting guard once William Jeffress returns from a foot injury, but for now, the former Marquette reserve appears to be featuring prominently in the rotation.
