Tyree Appleby - Explodes for 22 points Appleby provided 22 points (6-10 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 8-9 FT), six rebounds and six assists over 35 minutes during Friday's 81-71 win over Georgia.

Impact Appleby didn't have his best game in the season opener with only eight points across 26 minutes, but he bounced back admirably here and was one of Wake Forest's top performers since he also managed to put up decent passing and rebounding numbers. It's only been two games, but he should form an intriguing backcourt partnership alongside Daivien Williamson.

Cameron Hildreth - Close to double-double in win Hildreth accumulated eight points (3-5 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 1-3 FT), 11 rebounds and two assists in 22 minutes during Friday's 81-71 win over Georgia.

Impact Hildreth registered his 32 appearances off the bench last season and that has been the case in 2022-23 as well, but he's looked better this time around -- he registered 14 points (4-9 FG) in the opener and pulled down 11 rebounds here. With those contributions, it shouldn't be long before he gets an opportunity in the starting lineup.

Impact Lindsay saw 21 minutes of action in the opener Monday but failed to score a basket. He will now enter the starting unit Friday after Matthew-Alexander Moncrieffe was ruled out with an ankle injury. The 6-7 freshman has seen an extended role out of the gates to open up the year but that could change once Moncrieffe and Jailyn Ingram (knee) are back to full strength.
