As part of Eastern Kentucky, he not only logged 18.0 points per game but also averaged 2.6 steals and as many three-pointers made. For the Colonels, his injured knee suffered such a bad problem Vanderbilt never used him. Even though Vandy did not utilize Kimble, AL.com indicates that Auburn's team believes in his potential.

Joining Commodores Kimble has announced his commitment to Vanderbilt ahead of the 2025-26 season, Joe Tipton on On3.com reports.

Impact Kimble, who spent last season with Eastern Kentucky, will make the move to Vanderbilt. The 6-foot-2 sophomore started in 25 games with the Colonels, averaging 18 points, 3.7 rebounds, 3.2 assists and 2.6 steals on 29.7 minutes per game. Kimble will look to leverage his high-level three-and-d skillset into a role with the Commodores next season.
