Impact Elkamil didn't play during the 2022-23 season and only recorded five appearances off the bench in the previous campaign, so seeing him involved -- even if it's in a limited capacity -- here is a step in the right direction. Elkamil should be available for the season opener against Grand Canyon on Nov. 6, but it's unclear whether he'll have a big role or not.

Impact Elkamil will not make his team debut in Monday's opener. The guard transferred from Tulsa over the offseason, only appearing in four games his freshman season. It is unclear how long Elkamil will remain out while nursing the shoulder injury, though his next chance to return is Saturday against Lyon.
