Plays 17 minutes in exhibition
Dual (shoulder) logged 17 minutes off the bench in Sunday's exhibition against Grambling. He finished with two points (1-7 FG, 0-4 3Pt), a rebound, two assists and two steals.
Impact
Dual saw action in this exhibition game, but he wasn't sharp with his shot. Either way, expect the junior guard to be ready when McNeese State play their season opener against Santa Clara on Friday, Nov. 7.

12 points in blowout loss
Dual provided 12 points (3-4 FG, 3-3 3Pt, 3-4 FT), two rebounds, four assists, one block and one steal across 31 minutes during Saturday's 81-50 loss to UConn.
Impact
Dual was nearly a perfect scorer in the Pirates' rematch versus the Huskies, but it didn't mean much in the end. The sophomore guard logged a ten-game best in points, and he also produced his third straight outing with a block. He'll have to be on his A-game this Wednesday now as the Pirates travel to Villanova.

Two blocks, two steals in loss
Dual amassed six points (3-5 FG, 0-2 FT), two rebounds, three assists, two blocks and two steals over 34 minutes during Tuesday's 76-59 loss to Marquette.
Impact
The Pirates got blown out by Marquette in the home matchup, but the sophomore guard's fill-in starting job provided some relief on defense with guard's Dylan Addae-Wusu (foot) and Chaunce Jenkins (hamstring) both out. Dual may need to step up on the offensive side of the ball as well if he continues to find himself in the starting lineup. He's now started in nine games so far this season.

Logs zero points in eighth start
Dual ended with zero points (0-3 FG, 0-2 3Pt) in eight minutes during Sunday's 61-60 loss to Georgetown.
Impact
Dual has now started six straight outings and eight this season, but definitely performed the most poorly versus the Hoyas. The sophomore guard ended up playing just eight minutes, but this could've been due to his shooting problems. He'll look to bounce back next Tuesday at Xavier.

Logs minutes off bench
Dual (shoulder) made his return in Thursday's win over VCU, finishing with six points (2-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 2-4 FT), four assists, three rebounds, two steals and a block.
Impact
Dual was able to provide the Pirates with some valuable minutes off the bench despite possibly not being 100 percent healthy with his shoulder issue. It's unclear if the injury is completely behind him or if it's something he's able to play through, but the team will have nine days in between games until they host Monmouth on Nov. 30.

Scores seven, ejected late
Dual had seven points (3-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), three rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 28 minutes before getting ejected from Friday's 73-70 OT loss to K...
Impact
Dual is still acclimating and hasn't made a sizable offensive impact yet, but he's racked up seven blocks and four steals through Providence's first four games. In the final seconds of Friday's contest, the 6-foot-5 freshman physically retaliated against contact by Jerrell Colbert, but it's unclear if Dual will face extended punishment.
