Healthy for 2025-2026 season Gertrude (knee) is healthy for the Cavaliers's 2025-26 season, according to Virginia Men's Basketball.

Impact Back in April of 2024, Gertrude suffered a right knee injury that kept him out for the entirety of the season. The 6-foot-4 guard last played in 2023 where he appeared in 16 games, primarily in a reserve role, averaging 3.4 points and 1.2 rebounds.
