Scores seven off bench Horton registered seven points (1-6 FG, 1-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), two rebounds, two blocks and two steals in 16 minutes during Friday's 80-49 loss to Saint Mary's.

Impact The Mean Green got hammered and were down by 30 at halftime. Horton was given some extra playing time because of the nature of the game. He showed up on the defensive end, even if he succumbed to the shooting woes of the rest of the team. The 6-5 freshman has played in every game, but his minutes are not guaranteed. Granted, if North Texas continues to lose, coach Daniyal Robinson may look for other options, including Horton.
