Starting Thursday Lampkin is in the starting lineup for Thursday's game against McNeese State.

Impact Lampkin appeared in just 10 games last season as a freshman while averaging just 3.4 minutes per game. The 6-11 sophomore appears to be in line for a much more extensive role in year two as he cracks the starting five for the first time in his collegiate career.

Returns to action Tuesday Lampkin (personal) didn't score but grabbed one rebound during Tuesday's loss to Texas Tech.

Impact Lampking didn't play in Saturday's win over Iowa State due to a personal reason but returned to the lineup and logged four minutes of action off the bench. The freshman has scored just a total of three points the entire 2020-21 campaign thus far.

Tending to family matter Lampkin was unavailable Saturday against Iowa State due to a family matter, Drew Davison of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

Impact Lampkin was not much of a fantasy factor, averaging 3.4 mpg over seven appearances this season. The 6-11 freshman could be subject to COVID-19 protocol if he's ultimately forced to leave the team to attend to this issue. TCU has three games remaining on the regular season schedule, starting Tuesday at Texas Tech.
